We know there are super fans of this bottle here in Malaysia. Springbank 12 Year Old Cask Strength is typically a combination of bourbon and sherry casks and this May 2021 release has that in bourbon and sherry in 50-50 mix. 

NOSE: From the outset, this dram incorporates some of the signature Springbank characteristics with earthy and maritime aromas. Hints of cracked black pepper and afruity fragrance of dried pineapple develop over time.

PALATE: Oily and creamy. Sweet flavours are balanced by the salty elements of thewhisky; vanilla, fudge and caramel with a sprinkling of finely crushed sea salt. Thereare notes of milk chocolate and sweet honeycomb.

FINISH: Gentle peat smoke endures alongside the distinct maritime influence. Freshly baked salted pretzels, warm vanilla custard and a tang of orange zest.
