To mark this leap year, Wemyss launched an expression that honours the passing of time. Crafted at Caol Ila distillery in 2007, this 16-year-old Single Cask Single Malt, bottled at cask strength, has been carefully aged in refilled ex-bourbon hogshead casks. The final product showcases subtle notes of maritime smoke, mild peat, and brown butter, culminating in a lingering finish.
Only 266 bottles exist globally.

NOSE: Maritime smoke, saline, cooking sardines on a beach, smoky, soft & gentle peat.
PALATE: Salt, briny, sharp, smoke disguised, anticipation of saltiness on the palate, salted butter, bright & smoother than expected, butter burnt in a pan, salty steak fat, meaty.
FINISH: Long & distinguished.
