Before George Smith licensed his distillery in 1824, the Glenlivet valley was full of illicit whisky trade. Bottled at a higher strength of 48% abv for a bolder, richer expression, this Illicit Still limited edition was inspired by the founder’s original and illegally distilled, Glenlivet whisky. Expect fruity and nutty flavours, complemented by spiced notes of cloves and cinnamon powder.

Tasting notes

NOSE: Tropical, fresh and summery aromas with ripe pineapple, vanilla fudge and coconut.

PALATE: Rich fruity notes of peaches in syrup, poached pears and soft caramel.

FINISH: An exceptionally long, sweet and smooth finish.
