南投酒廠波本桶單一純麥威士忌 Omar Single Malt Bourbon Cask was honoured as Best Natural Cask in MMA. And it’s awarded Grand Gold Medal in CMB Spirits Selection. Omar Whisky Bourbon Cask is predominantly single malt whisky matured in bourbon cask, with a few drops of sherry cask whisky for added complexity of body and finish.

First comes with pure and refreshing white flower, gradually appearing attractive aroma of cane, vanilla, cream and honey. With the warmer climate of Taiwan that brings out the character of malty grain, cedar and angelica sinensis, creates a more subtle but balanced aroma.

Colour -bright golden like honey

Aroma- Sweet, malt, flora, and tropical fruit-like fragrances such as dried mango and ripened pineapple

Palate- Sweet vanilla with delicate scent of flower

Finish- middle length with sweetness

The origin of the name OMAR is amber in Gaelic language. Omar however, is made at the Nantou distillery in Taiwan where it is surrounded by mountains with pure water. The area is suitable for whisky making and aging. Therefore, Nantou distillery was established. They insist on non-chill filtration and without caramel colouring. Present the taste of local terroir and natural golden color.

TTL launched first single malt whisky in single cask strength in October 2013. It’s famous for tropical fruity flavor and advocated by whisky lovers. And it was awarded for numerous medals in many international spirit competitions, such as ISC, SFWSC, MMA, IWSC, WWA and CMB since 2014.
