The Vintage Collection 2009 is the result of an exceptional blend of three sherry cask types: first- and second-fill oloroso sherry casks, as well as first fill PX sherry casks. Each cask imparts its unique influence of dried fruit, spice, and raisin sweetness, resulting in a thick sherried whisky that is layered, indulgent, and unforgettable.
Tasting notes
NOSE: Sandalwood and dried tobacco leaves set the stage, with sun-dried fruits, raisins, and sultanas adding a vibrant sweetness.
PALATE: A celebration of dried fruits, from raisins to candied orange rind, intertwined with rich brown sugar. Warming syrup spices—cinnamon, root ginger, and cloves, create an indulgent warmth.
FINISH: Rich nuttiness emerges as the dried fruits and spices gently fade. A delicate waxy texture lingers, leaving a long-lasting impression.

Old Perth is a brand of a lost blend originally produced by Perth-based blender Peter Thomson. It has since been revitalised under the current stewardship of independent blender and bottler Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers.
Today’s Old Perth brings together the finest of sherry matured malt whisky from a selection of distilleries in the Glenlivet Region of Speyside, and then blended in Perth, Scotland.
