Nikka Discovery Series 2021 Release Yoichi Single Malt Non‐Peated is a limited-edition Japanese whisky from the re-owned Nikka Whisky Distilling Co. This expression forms part of the Nikka Discovery series, released in 2021, which explored the various dimensions of their whisky-making process.

Unlike the typical Yoichi whiskies, which are known for their rich, peaty characteristics, this version is non-peated, offering a unique twist on the classic Yoichi style. It has been crafted from unpeated malts, allowing other aspects of the Yoichi distillery’s signature style to shine through. The whisky has been aged in oak casks, giving it depth and complexity, while the absence of peat reveals more fruity, floral and malty notes.
