Mars Maltage Cosmo Blended Whisky is a made up of a blend of Japanese and Scotch Whisky, made by the owners of Mars Shinshu Distillery. This malt whisky that expresses complexity and depth, created by vatting multiple types of malt whiskies using Mars Whisky’s blending expertise.

The name “Cosmo” derives from Mt. Kosumo, a peak in the Central Alps. Inspired by the name evoking the “Cosmos” (universe), the label design depicts the starry night sky viewed from the distillery at the foot of the mountains.

Tasting notes

NOSE: Within the rich, sweet aroma reminiscent of dates, honey and caramel, faint smoky notes and scents of ripe fruit unfold.

PALATE: Round and soft, with notes of light citrus, chocolate, fresh barley and toasted oak. The texture becomes fatter with dilution, as damson flavors emerge.

FINISH: A gentle, lingering finish with fruity notes of plum and grapes, and a hint of chocolate biscuits.
