As one of Scotland’s oldest whisky families, the Morrisons have had a strong presence on Islay for five generations. Mac-Talla is their bottling of Islay Single Malt Whiskies, made to reflect the character of Islay’s weather-beaten shores.

This heavily peated expression was fully matured in Oloroso sherry casks, resulting in big and bold flavours with robust notes of peat smoke, baking spices and almonds. 

COLOUR: Rich amber. 

NOSE: Peat smoke, phenols and spice. 

TASTE: Warm spice, rich dark fruits, with a big dollop of peat. Brown sugar and baking spices reminiscent of Christmas with a peat fire burning in the background.
