This very elegant Glenfarclas was bottled in the winter of 1985 that was matured in a refill sherry butt for an astonishing 37 years.
The result is a refined expression of Glenfarclas that is velvety smooth and full-bodied, with sweet notes of toffee, butterscotch, sultanas, and fig jam, followed by dark chocolate and toasted almonds, while a delicate spiciness of cinnamon, clove, and warming nutmeg greets you at the finish.
