This teaspooned single malt comes mostly from a big Speyside distillery (hint: it has a stag as its main emblem), sometimes called Wardhead. This bottling hugely benefitting from the sherry octave casks. Bottled at cask strength.

It is part of Duncan Taylor’s Octave series, which has undergone a second maturation in sherry octave casks that are about 1/8th the size of a butt. The result is an ‘Octave Invigorated’ whisky that has an expanded flavour profile of a mature, well-balanced Scotch Whisky.
