A rare, sea-kissed Highland malt finished for seven years in a single Manzanilla cask, and the very last of this whisky is now available in very limited quantity.

Distilled on the final day of 1992, this whisky spend over two decades quietly doing its thing in ex-Bourbon barrels before taking an extended holiday in a single Manzanilla sherry cask for remaining years. Picked for Deanston’s Warehouse 4 experience and a distillery exclusive, the balance of the cask has been bottled and now available as a Malaysia only exclusive bottling.

A spectacular dram! One that reminds you why patience is worth it – waxy, coastal, layered and utterly unique. The manzanilla sherry adding a lusciously rich salted caramel luxurious feel to this gem of a whisky. Words somehow do not do this whisky this justice.

Tasting notes

NOSE: Rich notes of Danish pastries, freshly toasted nuts and tanned leather are complimented by a dusting of sea salt.

PALATE: Dried raisins and sultanas lead, complimented by a woody spice which fade to reveal salted caramels, praline and malt.

FINISH: Sea salt and wood spice perfectly harmonise to leave a subtle, lasting finish.
