Glenburgie was founded in 1810 under the name ‘Kilnflat’ by William Paul. It is neighbors with Glenallachie and Glenspey. There are not so many original bottlings of Glenburgie. Glenburgie distillery has mainly been used to produce whisky to be used in blends such as Ballantine’s and Old Smuggler. The discontinued Glencraig Single Malt was part of an experiment with different stills sited at this distillery.

Distilled at Glenburgie in 2011, this single malt was matured in PX sherry hogsheads for 12 years before it was bottled in 2022. A total of 1,418 bottles were produced for this expression. Non-chill filtered, and presented without any added colour.
Tasting notes: Well-balanced and mouth coating with dried fruits and a delicate spicy note.
