A peated Highland Ardmore matured in an Islay Cask for 7 years and bottled at an elevated abv of 47.5%. Non-chill filtered with no colouring added.
Fresh bonfire smoke, smoked kippers and a finish that leaves the palate revived. This peated whisky has definitely benefitted from the use of the Islay cask.
