Bushmills 25 Year Old is patiently matured in bourbon barrels and sherry butts for between four and six years before finishing in first-fill ruby port pipes for 21 years to give generations of luxurious dark fruit flavours.

These oak port pipes were personally sourced from a family cooperage that shares our uncompromising values, expertly hand-crafted by their trusted coopers. They are made from delicate European oak to ensure the interaction between seasoned wood and whiskey is the greatest it can be. Bottled at 46% abv and is non-chill filtered.

Tasting notes

COLOUR: Red gold.

NOSE: Rich and complex. Intense ripe hedgerow dark fruit aromas mingled with honey and gentle toasted wood offer the first glimmer of the age of this well-rounded whiskey.

PALATE: Sweet almond tones followed by caramelised cherries, plums and blackberries delight the taste buds before developing into rich dark chocolate mingled with sweet spices and finishing with honey and damson – simply luxurious.

FINISH: The remarkable ever present warm oak, port sweetness and gentle spice continues to flourish long after the last drop has glided down inviting you to taste this exquisite single malt again and again.
