Distilled on the 9th of March 2005, this limited edition release rested in oak casks before setting sail on a finishing journey in a hand-selected single cask from the Armagnac region of Gascony, southwestern France.
Award Winning Bunnahabhain Turas Math No3 is a 19 Year Old single malt that has been finished in a single, rare Armagnac cask, bringing depth and distinction to its coastal character. It is an exclusive to the distillery but we have managed to get a small quantity into Malaysia.
A super rich, fruit-laced dram that captures the essence of homecoming after a journey well travelled.
Tasting notes
NOSE: Packed full of dried fruits, apricot, creamy vanilla, toasted oak and a hint of dark chocolate.
TASTE: Candied orange peel and baked apples fade to reveal caramel, a light ginger spice and a hint of liquorice.
FINISH: A dry lingering finish with oak spice and cocoa.
