It will feature four unique bottlings specially chosen by Lochranza Distillery Manager Stewart Bowman and given his seal of approval. Remnant Renegade is the first edition in Arran’s brand new four-part Signature Series. This edition, hand-selected by Distillery Manager Stewart Bowman, is a selection of Arran single malts that showcase the diversity of the spirit made in the Lochranza Distillery.
It is a marriage of remnant casks selected by Stuart Bowman, and they include ex-sherry Hogsheads, ex-sherry Butts and ex-bourbon barrels from across the Arran portfolio between as early as only a couple of years after they started distilling, to as recently as 2017.
This limited edition Arran does not come in a tube but comes in this more environmentally friendly bag.
Tasting notes
NOSE: Toffee apples, vanilla, cinnamon spice, really clean and prominent orange blossom notes, star anise.
PALATE: Silky smooth and balanced, light liquorice, menthol herbs, and honey.
