La Clandestine Verte is bottled at 68% abv and was only launched in 2022 to replace Angélique Verte Suisse.
A full flavour and a complex aromatic palate define La Clandestine Verte. Definitely no ordinary absinthe! La Clandestine Verte is truly a “Verte Suisse” (Swiss Verte), originating from the Val-de-Travers region of Switzerland and made from twelve different plants, including angelica and wormwood. Its color is obtained from a natural infusion of aromatic plants; no artificial colorings are added.
La Clandestine Verte absinthe can be considered the rebellious sister of La Clandestine Blanche. It is stronger, more bitter, but still recognizable as a modern Swiss absinthe. The name Angélique on the La Clandestine Verte label refers to Angélique Verte Suisse, the former name of this high-proof verte before 2022. The daughter of Claude-Alain and Karine Bugnon is also named Angélique!
