Teeling is no stranger to the spotlight, especially after its 24-year-old expression won World’s Best Single Malt in World Whiskies Awards 2019. This 28-year-old Irish single malt is a worthy winner of the Best Irish Single Malt accolade at the World Whisky Awards 2021, made by maturing the spirit in Bourbon casks before being moved over to Sauternes wine casks to marry.
Tasting Notes
NOSE: White peaches, cut grass, white chocolate and a hint of toasted almonds.
PALATE: Silky smooth with ripe peaches, honey, smoked sea saltiness and subtle spices on the tongue.
FINISH: Long and mellow with a continuation of the sweet spice.
