Bushmills 18 Year Old Three Wood delivers rich, fruit-forward flavours of spiced apricot, dried fruit and velvety honey sweetness.
Matured for 17 years in bourbon barrels and Oloroso sherry butts before a finish of up to 12 months in rare Colheita port casks from Portugal’s Douro Valley.
This 46% abv release is part of Bushmills’ World Wood Series, crafted on the wild County Antrim coast near the Giant’s Causeway.
Tasting Notes
NOSE: Sweet apricot and honey, followed by dried fruit with a hint of leather.
PALATE: Warm spiced apricot, dates and raisins developing into honey and vanilla, before revealing almond and walnut covered in milk chocolate.
FINISH: Delightfully long and smooth, with waves of sweet spice.

Bushmills is named for the mills that dotted the town all along the River Bush. Granted a licence to still in 1608, Busmills is the oldest licensed whiskey distillery in the world. Over 400 years later, whiskey is still being made in Bushmills, thanks to experience and craft passed down from generation to generation.
Located just a few miles from Ireland’s rugged north coast, and they continue to triple distil 100% malted barley in copper pot stills to make single malt whiskey.
