Given that Pinot Noir grapes are good enough to make Champagne, that most regal of sparkling wines, this Pinot Noir casks were thought worthy of creating a finish for this soft and honeyed malt. This is the first time Pinot Noir casks have been used with Deanston whiskies. Notes of vanilla, citrus and sweet white wine are delivered with a zing so zesty, you can practically hear them.
Distilled & filled into whisky re-fiill casks on 13th of December 2002
Transferred into Pinot Noir Casks 14th June 2018
