46.5% | 70cl | NCF | Independent Bottling | Islay
This gem from Bunnahabhain comes from a single hogshead cask that has been maturing quietly for 28 years before it was bottled in 2019. As its name suggests, the whisky opens with lots of floral fruitiness up front, followed by maritime and mineral-like notes that’s characteristic of the Islay distillery. On the palate are notes of honey, seaweed and citrus, and ends with dusty and leathery notes of woodsmoke, vanilla and toasted spices. One of 250 bottles.
