Matured in a sherry hogshead for 28 years and bottled at 46.8%. Only 245 bottles were produced.
Colour: Straw Gold
Nose: The first taste is of tiramisu, hazelnut, or a vanilla ice-cream affogato with toasted almond sprinkles. After the first few second’s leathery and fatty notes like pork crackling adds a savoury edge. The whisky is oily and mineralic.
Palate: A soft and gentle dram with rich, juicy fruit flavours of sultanas soaked in orange liquor. Smooth and mouth coating.
Finish: Sweetened espresso and traces of wood smoke.
