A limited-edition Glenfarclas single malt, released in celebration of the distillery’s 185th anniversary.
The Grant family had the foresight to increase production when times were tough, to bet on themselves and rely on their own stock for the future. For this 185th Anniversary, with the deep reserves, George Grant has decided to pick casks from 6 different decades(!) to go into this release.
NOSE: Damson jam, toasted teacake with butter, festive spices, and a hint of waxy orange.
PALATE: Christmas cake, mint chocolate, stewed berries, strong coffee, prune.
FINISH: Lingering spiced fruit compote, blackcurrant jelly, and mahogany.

Since 1865, Glenfarclas Distillery has been owned by one family. Producing the much loved Speyside whiskies that are exclusively aged in Sherry casks, using pure spring water, malted barley and yeast. Their whiskies are made to age, and as such, you will find Glenfarclas whiskies that go all the way up to 60 Years Old and above.
