The Dimensions Collection from Duncan Taylor Scotch Whisky Limited is an outstanding range of single malt and single grain whiskies from across Scotland.
Bottled from single casks at cask strength, with no added colour and non-chill filtered, the whiskies in this range showcase the diversity and influence of individual casks, offering unrepeatable expressions from various distilleries.
We have classed Inchgower as a Highland distillery based on the location of the distillery, but the distillery draws its water source that supplies Speyside distilleries, so people technically classify Inchgower as a Speyside. What is equally cool about this distillery is that its warehouses are by the fishing port of Buckie.
The spirit itself has an underlying waxiness, reminiscent of Clynelish.
This wonderful 11-year-old single malt comes from Inchgower, a distillery known for its coastal style of single malt produced by short fermentation and steeply angled lyne arms to capture the spirit’s weightier elements. Independent bottlings are rare; it’s said that less than 1% of Inchgower’s malt is released as a single malt, with most of the malt whisky going into blends.
