We have classed Inchgower as a Highland distillery based on the location of the distillery, but the distillery draws its water source that supplies Speyside distilleries, so people technically classify Inchgower as a Speyside. What is equally cool about this distillery is that its warehouses are by the fishing port of Buckie, which gives it a nice coastal element.
The spirit itself has an underlying waxiness, reminiscent of Clynelish.
