After distillation on 22nd November 1997, followed by 19 years of maturation in traditional bourbon casks, this whisky was specially selected to be finished for almost two years in Palo Cortado sherry casks. This cask strength limited worldwide release of only 1,644 bottles is packed with notes of fresh berries, dried fruits and roasted nuts, all drizzled with cream and dusted with cocoa and nutmeg.
NOSE: Fresh berries and cream, pecan, walnuts, rich oak with vanilla, hints of dried fruit.
PALATE: Mouth coating, sweet dried fruit, rich oak, roasted nuts, subtle hints of cocoa.
FINISH: Slightly dry finish with hints of nutmeg.
