The Arran Malt 17-Year-Old Island Rare Batch Calvados Cask Whisky is one for the whisky curious and those who are searching for something different and delicious. This single malt was fully matured in ex-Calvados casks that were sourced from a producer whose family has been making Calvados in the region of Pont-L’Évêque in Normandy for generations. Bottled at 52.5% abv, without added colour and chill-filtration.

Only 4,200 bottles were produced globally.

Tasting notes

NOSE: Dried apple and danish pastries, white grapes, custard lollies, cocoa powder and nutmeg.

PALATE: Smooth, ripe golden delicious apples, creamy vanilla fudge, Manuka honey and dark chocolate with hints of raspberry.

FINISH: Long with apple, pear and dark chocolate.
