Vol 1: Brodick Bay (49.8% abv)
At 20 years old, this single malt has been matured in both bourbon and sherry hogsheads before being finished in oloroso sherry butts sourced directly from Bodegas Tradicion in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain.
Palate: Creamy toffee, fresh citrus.
Finish: Honey, Citrus, Raisins, Dark chocolate, Satisfying, Long lasting.
Vol 2: Lochranza Castle (47.2%abv)
A 21 year old whisky that has been matured in sherry hogsheads before being finished in amontillado sherry casks sourced directly from Bodegas Tradicion in Jerez De La Frontera, Spain.
Palate: Caramelised almonds, ginger and dark chocolate.
Finish: Citrus, Apricots, Toasted almonds, Dark chocolate.
Vol 3: Kildonan & Pladda Island (50.4% abv)
This particular expression is 21 Years Old and has been matured in Ex-Sherry Butts and Puncheons before being finished in Ruby Port Casks sourced directly from Portugal.
Palate: Sweet and tangy with a burst of strawberry liquorice, fresh raspberries and ginger. Cask influence adds another layer to the sweet fruit character, with flakes of hazelnut in the development.
Finish: A truly multi-layered dram with a long-lasting finish of red fruit, oak and a hint of tobacco.
Vol 3: Drumadoon Point (49.5% abv)
This particular expression has been maturing for the last 23 years in ex Sherry Puncheons sourced directly from Jerez from a respected small producer who shares Arran’s values.
Palate: An initial wave of sweetness followed by spice; Spiced apple, cocoa powder and star anise. Flavours of dark chocolate and raisins also start to develop, creating a beautiful balance between Arran’s signature style and sherry cask maturation.
Finish: A long and warming finish, reflecting the sweetness and spice found on nose and palate. A dram that will leave you wanting to pour another!
