Dr. Kirstie McCallum made the inspired decision to finish a bourbon-matured Deanston malt in premium fino sherry casks for the first time ever. They were finished for a full two years.
NOSE: Hints of meadow and herb garden, sweet honey, dried fruit, subtle toffee and caramel notes with hints of tropical fruit and gentle spice.
PALATE: Hints of dried fruit, honey, citrus, with a herby spiciness and subtle toffee undertones.
FINISH: Dry finish with hints of fruit and subtle spice.
